SaferDrop is a private conduit. We cannot see your transfers — so responsible use is on you.
End-to-end encryption means we cannot scan what you send. We act on reports. Use this responsibly.
Prohibited transfers
By using SaferDrop you agree not to transfer:
- Content that is illegal in your or the recipient's jurisdiction.
- Child sexual abuse material — zero tolerance, reported to authorities.
- Malware, or content intended to harm systems or people.
- Content that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights you do not hold.
Enforcement
Because transfers are end-to-end encrypted, we cannot proactively scan content. We act on reports. If we receive a credible report tied to a sending account, we may suspend or ban that account. You can report abuse at saferdrop.com/report-abuse.
