The service
SaferDrop provides browser-to-browser file transfer. Transfers are end-to-end encrypted and ephemeral; we do not store or have access to your file contents. Because there is no storage, a transfer requires both parties to be online, and an interrupted transfer cannot be resumed.
Acceptable use
Your use of SaferDrop is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy. You are solely responsible for the content you transfer and for transmitting the link and PIN over appropriate channels.
Accounts & billing
Sending requires an account. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually and renew automatically until cancelled. Applicable taxes are added at checkout.
No warranty
The service is provided "as is". Network conditions can prevent a direct connection; we provide a relayed fallback but cannot guarantee any particular transfer will complete.
